Abstract

Today, Mexico is a developing country that is improving its economic situation with the help of a new political party (Partido de Acción Nacional) governed by the recently elected president, Mr. Vincente Fox. One of the major factors of this economic growth is the recent Free Trade Agreement with the European Union. This paper examines Mexico’s economy and the impact of the Free Trade Agreement.
