A brief description is given cf a model for calculating damage energy cross sections, and primary recoil spectra for an arbitrary incident neutron spectrum using data from the ENDF/B files.Damage energy cross sections for Nb, V, Ti, Al and C are compared, and spectrum-averaged cross sections for Nb in twelve different spectra are given.The relative merits of various neutron sources for simulation of CTR radiation effects are discussed, and it is concluded that deuteron breakup sources closely simulate first-wall effects. -NOTICE-This report was prepared as an account of work sponsored by the
