Supporter's Trust - New Type of Cooperative in the Czech Republic

Abstract

Supporter's trust is a new type of organization which has appeared also in the Czech Republic. The first supporter's trust in the world was founded in 1992. From that time the segment of supporter's trust has developed and this article present its development. But main objective of the article is to present to town and gown what is supporter's trust. It is because supporter's trust can be one of the possibilities how to prevent sport club to go bankrupt. Especially in recent time of global economical crisis which affects all branches professional sport without exception.
