Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To determine based on current evidence which intervention for urethral stricture is best in terms of efficacy and cost. Specific comparisons to be made are as follows: 1. Urethrotomy versus Urethral dilatation (including self‐dilatation); 2. Urethrotomy versus Urethroplasty; 3. Urethroplasty versus Urethral dilatation (including self‐dilatation); 4. Cost comparison.
