Abstract
Reconnaissance and detailed geochemical, aerial radiometric, and surface geologic studies were conducted in the Charley River Quadrangle, Alaska, to evaluate uranium favorability using the criteria of the National Uranium Resource Evaluation program. None of the geologic environments examined were found to be favorable for uranium deposits, but some of the areas having geologic uranium potential lie within the boundaries of the newly created Yukon-Charley National Monument and could not be investigated, and, therefore, remain unevaluated.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
