Abstract
Report presenting average and local skin-friction coefficients for laminar flow on a plate plate at Mach number 2.4 and compared with the laminar-boundary-layer theory of Chapman and Rubesin. The average skin-friction coefficients were calculated by the momentum-loss method from impact-pressure surveys of the boundary layer.
