Abstract
This chapter reviews the pathogenesis, assessment and management of adult rheumatoid arthritis. The surgical treatment of the rheumatoid wrist and distal radioulnar joint as well as synovectomy, tenosynovectomy, tendon reconstruction, digital deformities and rheumatoid thumb are covered.
