Abstract

Effective aupergravity theories auggested by superstrings can be explored to determine their potential for successfully describing both observed pbysica at zero temperature and an inflationary cosmology. An important ingredient in this study is tbe dynamics of gaugino condensation, wblch has been tbe subject of recent activity.
