Abstract
Soil salt content has a close relation with the groundwater depth and the mineralization degree in the arid areas in which the evaporation of groundwater is very strong.It is helpful for drainage system design and groundwater management to decide the relation between groundwater depth and mineralization degree and soil salt content.Based on the measured soil salt content,groundwater depth and mineralization degree in Yutian Oasis,the influence of groundwater on soil salt content was analyzed.The results showed that the soil salt content has significant index correlation with the groundwater depth and the mineralization degree in arid areas.The empirical formula between the soil salt content and the groundwater depth and the mineralization degree in soil 0 cm, 20 cm,40 cm,60 cm depth were established.This will provide guidance for salinization control and groundwater management.
