Abstract

GOULA, M. y ALOMAR, O., 1994: Mirids (Heteroptera Miridae) of interest in Integrated Pest Management on tomato crops. A guide to their recognition. Bol. San. Veg. Plagas, 20(1): 131-143. Several Dicyphinae (Het., Miridae) have been found in tomato fields in Catalonia (Spain): Macrolophus pygmaeus/M.caliginosus, Cyrtopeltis tenuis, C. geniculata, Dicyphus tamaninii and Dicyphus errans. The purpose of this paper is to aid pest control advisors to identify these species. Descriptions include colour photographs and illustrations. Information is also provided on their zoophytophagous feeding habits.
