Although CP violation is predicted to be small in the Standard Model, there exists a continuing theoretical interest within the charm sector due to enhancements of CPV through new physics processes. We present an overview of the measurements of direct CP violation in the charm sector at Belle. We give a brief review of the theory of CP violation in charm physics, then discuss recent measurements for the decay modes $D^{+}_{(s)}\rightarrow ϕπ^{+}$; $D^{0}\rightarrow K^{0}_{S}π^{0}, K^{0}_{S}η^{(\prime)}$; $D^{+}\rightarrow π^{+}η^{(\prime)}$; and $D^{+}\rightarrow K^{0}_{S}π^{+}$.
