Abstract

Discourses and practices of agrarian reform as well as debates on agrarian issues are very dynamic and continuously ramified as many perspectives developed and evolved along the way. To avoid over-simplification and unnuanced debate on agrarian reform and agrarian issues, it is very important in the first place to comprehend the evolution of agrarian reform policies as well as the complexity of scholarships on agrarian issues. For this purpose, this article offers a brief and preliminary sketch on the evolution of agrarian reform and agrarian studies since post-World War II to the present.
