Abstract

Function subprograms for the computation of the digamma function and generalized zeta function are presented. Some new analytic results are given, and tables of 20 place values of the functions are provided in order to check the computer codes. The digamma function is tabulated for x = 0.5(0.5)10, and the generalized zeta function is given for s = 2(1)42, a = 0.05(.05)1(.1)2(.5)10(1)21.
