Reviews objectives o f an in fo rm a tio n technology industry-based professional c e rtifica tio n .A tho ro u g h review o f ce rtificatio n objectives, preparation strategies, and exam strategies w ill be covered.Course can be repeated fo r d iffe re n t industry-based professional certifications Course Overview: Students prepare fo r A+ ce rtifica tio n thro u g h com pletion o f CSCI 105, CRT112, ITS 150, ITS 210, and ITS 280.The courses listed provide students w ith 150 hours o f classroom instruction and 150 hours o f lab-based experience p rio r to entering the course.The A+ ce rtification process is a capstone a ctivity fo r students com pleting the C om puter Technology Program.This class w ill consist o f a 1-hour classroom session w ith the in te n t to review the c o n te n t fo u n d in the preceding five courses and id e n tify testing strategies.Students fo rm study groups th a t m eet outside class to fu rth e r prepare fo r A+ ce rtifica tio n .
