Abstract
Experiments comparing the use of multiple versus paired comparisons for loudspeaker evaluation, the use of digital band splitting and equalization, and assessing the scope of the loudspeaker/room interaction effect on loudspeaker preferenceratings, are disclosed. Finally, the results of an experiment which utilizes loudspeaker/room equalization to lower the variability of preference scores, as well as increase to them, are presented.
