Abstract

Ahmad Yani flyover is one of the gates into the city of Malang. Public open space under the flyover Ahmad Yani is a public space that was originally designed as an empty space does not have a function. Over time community saw an opportunity to exploit on the public open space. Exploit of public open space that is sustainable. When seeing the location of public open space as a gate into the city of Malang, it is certain that the location of the public open space is located in the main road. These conditions have a significant impact to exploit the public open space. Users who dominate public open space that cadger, parking, and pedestrians. The users are influenced by the surrounding environment. In this paper seeks to discuss the factors that affect users in the use of public open space.. Keyword :public space, cadger, pedestrian
