Tourism policy-making in Australia

Abstract

This working paper and conference presentation reports on the findings of a study of tourism policy-making in Australia. It draws upon a conceptual framework previously developed by Airey and Chong (2011) for their study of tourism policy-making in China. The paper ends with broad conclusions which help to explain the current state of tourism policy-making in Australia.
