Abstract

The authors have studied a coplanar power splitter. The device was etched on a single sided RT/duroid 6010. Results of insertion loss are presented. This balanced structure presents an insertion loss value of 0.2 dB plus 3 dB splitting loss at 1.15 GHz without any airbridges. Measurement results seem attractive to the design of coplanar instantaneous frequency measurement subsystem (IFMS).
