Abstract

In the Mediterranean basin, the production of wines from dehydrated grapes is an ancient and common practice. However, in addition to the most important wines, there are a number of sweet wines made from dehydrated grapes which are produced in small quantities in other countries, including Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, and Greece, and which are characteristic of their own special regions.
