Abstract

Twelve crossbred female calves of about 130 kg body weight were divided into two groups of each. The calves in group-I received RDP and ME at 100 and 125%, while those in group-II received at 75 and 125% of ARC recommendations, respectively. The average daily weight gain of calves was 355g in both the groups. There was no significant difference in the DM intake and digestibility of nutrients, except in case of CP, between the groups.
