Abstract
Technology transfer strategies have been increasing rapidly in the past six years, driven by economic development concerns. Those strategies include new programs to commercialize university research. The Center for Technology Development and Transfer is a new program with a strong mandate to transfer technology to existing businesses or through the creation of new businesses.
