Abstract

Tunen is spoken in Cameroon around Ndikinimeki (NE of DUala) by approximately 35,000 people.It is a Bantu language, A.44 in Guthrie's classification.Tunen has been claimed by Stewart and Van Leynseele (1979) to have, underlyingly at least, vowel harmony of the cross-height type characteristic of West Africa.
