Abstract
Abstract Abundances of nitrogen and sulfur have been obtained for 12 early A-type stars. Four Am and two Ap stars were included in the sample, and neutral lines of N and S in the infrared region were used. The abundances of both N and S in normal A-type stars were found to coincide with the solar values within ±0.5 dex. Nitrogen is slightly overabundant in the Am star o Peg. Nitrogen and sulfur are both under-abundant in the two Ap stars ε UMa and 73 Dra.
