Abstract
A system of flue-gas recirculation for use on a coal-fired stoker boiler is described. It is claimed that this can reduce the required excess-air flow by more than 50%, reduce SO/sub 2/, NO/SUB/x and particulate emissions, and decrease the size of downstream equipment required. Test results are presented.
