Abstract

The proposed classification allows caking coals to be placed in order according to the variation in properties brought about by their genetic characteristics. Coals with adjacent codings and thus the same coking properties are combined to form statistical groups. Coking can be interpreted to show the strength of coke obtained from these coals or from charges in which they participate. (6 refs.)
