Abstract
Abstract Apoptosis is a form of active cell death that proceeds along genetically determined and interacting pathways of biochemical reactions. It is essential for development and continuous physiological cell renewal in multicellular organisms. A deregulation of apoptosis contributes to the pathogenesis of various human diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative pathologies.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
