Abstract

We present a prism-based setup that allows for the pulse shaping of spectra beyond the octave with high throughput which makes it a very interesting tool even for high power applications. We present results for pulse compression close to the Fourier limit and the generation of temporal pulse profiles with 5-fs-resolution. In order to compensate also for the higher-order dispersion of the pulse shaping setup, the measured phase is inverted and applied to the LC-display.
