Abstract
In this paper, we rst give a necessary and sufficient condition for convergence of S-iteration and then prove equivalence between S-iteration and Ishikawa iteration. Finally, we compare the rate of convergence between S-iteration and Ishikawa iteration Some numerical examples for comparing the rate of convergence between these two methods are also given.
