Abstract
This chapter presents goodness-of-fit tests for distributions other than Gaussian. Tests in the first section of the chapter are based on the empirical distribution function (EDF). The second section deals with Pearson's X2-test, which is an omnibus test for goodness-of-fit but not so powerful if alternative tests on specific distributions are available. The appropriate sample codes namely, SAS and R codes, are given to perform all the discussed tests.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
