Abstract
The purpose of this study was to present basic social, psychological data for the design of
adolescent's desirable housing environment.
The major findings were as follows:
1) There were significant differences in attitudes toward the
private space depending on homeownership, location of private
space, number of peresons in private space, and existence of
territoriality in private space.
2) Regardless of sex and age, the adolescent's need to own his/her
private space was much greater than any other aspects related to
room size and the location of private space etc.
The design implication of the study has been discussed.
