Abstract

Isolation of thorium ammonium acetate complex and the investigation of its properties are reported. The crystals are anisootropic; their density is 2.041 g/cm/sup 3/. The double salt is insoluble in ether, benzene, and ethyl alcohol. Chemical analysis of the substance formed as a result of heating to 180 deg C indicates that it is thorium acetate. (LK)
