Abstract
This paper deals with the study of the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in a rectangular waveguide filled with an inhomogeneous semiconductor plasma medium in which electron density varies linearly in a direction perpendicularto the direction of propagation across the waveguide. Analysis is carried out in terms of longitudinal section electric and longitudinal section magnetic fields. Collision frequency is assumed constant throughout the analysis. From the dispersion relation, an expression for the variation of cutoff frequency with the thickness of the inhomogeneous plasma is derived.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
