Abstract
For the purpose of operational speed improvement for trains, cross-border interoperability, reduction of maintenance costs in the center of Europe, ERTMS/ETCS(European Railway Traffic Management System/European Train Control System) is under research and development. ERTMS is classified into ETCS(European Train Control System) for a safe train operation and GSM-R(Global System Mobile for Railway) that is a radio information transmission system, and ETML(European Traffic Management Layer) aiming at train operation. In this paper, we analyze system requirements on radio interfaces required to the development of L2 system in ERTMS/ETCS in order to operate a train in a safe way.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
