Abstract

Avionic Weather Radar is an essential equipment in aircraft. Polarimetry can improve the detection and the classification of hydrometeors and thus the safety and the efficiency of the flight. Here a 3D polarimetric radar simulator for the feasibility study on avionic weather polarimetric radar is presented.
