Contribution to the Knowledge of the Rhopalocera (Lepidoptera) Fauna of Eastern and Northeastern Anatolia of Turkey (Families: Papilionidae, Pieridae, Nymphalidae, Satyridae and Hesperiidae)

Abstract

Six species of Papilionidae, 23 species and 1 subspecies of Pieridae, 28 species of Nymphalidae, 40 species and 1 subspecies of Satyridae and 29 species of Hesperiidae-altogether 122 and subspecies-were recorded in different parts of eastern and northeastern Anatolia in Turkey. Habitats and altitudes of almost all of the species were indicated.
