Abstract
The soil nutrients contents of 18 soil samples of tea gardens selected from main producing tea counties were determined to analyze the soil fertility of tea gardens in Guizhou according to the classification standard of soil fertility posed by Second National Soil Survey. The results showed that major soil nutrients content of tested tea gardens is suitable or very suitable to tea production, most soil of tea gardens are short of phosphorus and potassium, the soil samples with active phosphorus and potassium deficiency accounts for above 40% in total tested samples, and the soil nutrient distribution of tea gardens is not balanced and the variation range of soil nutrients contents among different regions is great.
