Abstract
32 chintinase-producing strains was screened by performing the plate transparent cycle method from 132 strains(bacteria and Streptomyces) isolated from soil. The strain obviously exhibited antagonism against numerous pathogens such as Magnaporthe grisea,Rhizoctonia solani and Gibberella zeae. The strain was proved to be a new chitinase-producing bacterium, which was identified as Streptomyces globisporus by morphological and physiochemical characteristics.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
