Abstract

The Rajendra S. Paroda Genebank at ICRISAT, Patancheru, \nIndia serves as a world repository for the ex situ collections of \nfive mandate crops: sorghum, pearl millet, chickpea, pigeonpea \nand groundnut, beside six small millets (finger millet, foxtail \nmillet, little millet, kodo millet, proso millet, and barnyard millet). \nWith 119,074 accessions assembled from 144 countries, the \ncollection is currently the largest among the genebanks for these \ncrops. The collection includes 116,349 cultivated accessions \nand 2,725 accessions.............
