Abstract
Mulberry is an important plant in sericulture industry. For the last three decades considerable work has been done on tissue culture of this plant. These studies have focused attention on micropropagation, organogenesis, somatic embryogenesis, synthetic seeds, haploid production, cryopreservation, protoplast culture and genetic engineering. This review comprises work dealing with mulberry biotechnology.
