Abstract
The modiflcations which take place in connective tissue after exposure to ionizing radiations were studied. Exposed skin and skin whlch was well protected from the radiations were examined. Hlstometric examination disclosed consensual modifications of the connective tissue which, of course, were greater in the irradiated skin. Edema of the connective tissue was first observed, followed by an increase of the number of the mastcells, then an increase of the connective tissue, and lastly a fibrous modification of the connective tissue. During the last phases of these modifications, the number of the mastcells progressively decreases. (auth)
