Abstract

A portable nuclear radiation spectrometer has been designed for rapid field measurement of mixed isotopic contaminants.The instrument can simul taneously accumulate counts in six energy channels The first application of the spectrometer used a low energy photon scintillation detector, but the instrument can be adapted to other types of detec tor probes.I.
