Abstract

ABSTRACT: 3402 continuous patients were examined for oral and other varices. Oral varices were much more common than varicosities of other veins. Varices were found to increase with age. Overall prevalence rate was 59.3 per 1000. This rate was highest in the about 60 years age group being 329.94 per 1000.
