Abstract
The fruits of Hosui pears were treated with 1-MCP(1-Methylcyclopropene) and the effects of 1-MCP treatment during storage room temperature were studied. The results indicated that 1-MCP treatment made fruit remain high quality and good flavor during storage by delaying the loss of firmness and water content, and inhibiting the increase of total soluble solids(TSS).1-MCP treatment also delayed the fruit senescence process by reducing the Ethylene content.Effects of 1-MCP treatment on pear storage of different fertilization were obviously different.
