Abstract

In the field of nuclear spectroscopy the magnetic beta-ray spectrometer has proven to be a valuable research tool. There are many designs for magnetic beta-ray spectrometers, all of which utilize the principle that the paths of charged particles are bent in a magnetic field. The beta-ray spectrometer used in this work has been described in detail by Eitter and Talbert.
