Abstract

Osteochondroma is usually found on the metaphysis of the long bone, which is seldom devel - oped on the scapula. Pseudowinging of the scapula caused by osteochondroma has not been reported yet in Korea. The posterior protrusion of left scapular inferior pole is detected on clini - cal examination. Pseudowinging of the scapula caused by osteochondroma can be easily diag - nosed by radiological examination. The posterior protrusion can be corrected to normal position by local excision of tumor. We would like to report a case of pseudowinging of the scapula due to ostechondroma with review of the literatures.
