Energy and development: extended analysis and implications

Abstract

This report describes the results of further analyses of the relationships between energy and indicators of economic and social development in Less Developed Countries. Policy implications for energy development assistance are drawn. This work is a continuing part of a broader effort to provide analytical support for policy development in the energy assistance programs of USAID. This report is a companion volume to the preliminary analysis previously published.
