Abstract

LIU, T.-X.and TIPPINS, H.H. 1988.Three new species of Neoquernaspis (Homoptera: Cocco idea : Diaspididae) from Nepal [with additional notes by S. TAKAGI]' Ins.matsum.n. s. 39: 35-48, 4 figs.(4 pIs.).Three new species of Neoquernaspis from Nepal are described and illustrated.They are: N. takagii Liu and Tippins, from Castanopsis tribuloides, N. howelli Liu and Tippins, from Quercus glauca and N. beshearae Liu and Tippins, from Lithocarpus pachyphylla.A key to the adult females of the known species in this genus is presented.In addition, a drawing of the second instar male of N. beshearae is given, and four other species are mentioned as possible members of Neoquer.naspis.
