Today Greece is in an economic crisis, which began in 2004. This research discusses the various bailouts that Greece has received from the International Monetary Fund and the European Union. First the Greek crisis is explained in a general context and then what were the main causes of it. An explanation of how the first and the second bailout to Greece happened is then performed. Then a third rescue talks about a possible Greece in the near future is explained. Then an analysis in which we talk about what have been the consequences of each bailout of Greece to the population, the Greek government and the rest of the Eurozone. The analysis also includes several charts and tables where you can see the evolution in time of some economic factors that have been affected by the Greek crisis. Finally, conclusions and recommendations of the study were performed.
