Xenon-ljlm and xenon-129m were prepared from iodine isotopes by secondary neutron capture, and krypton-79 was prepared by utilizing the (n,7) reaction on krypton gas enriched to ~75o in 78Kr.A three-month irradiation of a 20-mg target of 129i at a flux of 2 x 1014 n/cm2*sec produced 9-8 me of 131tnXe.Irra diation of 20 mg of 12'7i for one month yielded 0.l4 mc of 129raXe.A 1 cc (STP) enriched krypton target provided ~1.2 me of 79Kr product of >99$ purity.
