Abstract

The search for Higgs bosons Higgs search is one of the main goals of the LHC physics program. In the Standard Model there is only one neutral Higgs boson predicted. Super-symmetric extensions of the Standard Model require at least two Higgs doublets which manifest as three neutral and two charged Higgs bosons. In the following chapter, mainly the search for the Standard Model Higgs boson and the possibilities to measure its properties at LHC are described. The latter subject is however also relevant for the possible discovery of more than one neutral Higgs particle, since these are expected to differ in mass, coupling structure and CP properties. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
